ESTATES DEPARTMENT

SHACK has a spacious area which is serene in nature for both studies and co-curricular work.

For students and staff to live in such a clean and serene environment, the Estates office together

with administration have achieved it due to endless efforts of the workers and students.

Staffing: It has the kitchen, ground (compound) and other workers in different areas of the school. Able bodied men and women who are capable of making the compound neat and clean for the successful leaning and studying environment. The staff is 11 in number and they are headed by Mr. Muddu Robert.

Kitchen: A team of strong and Muscular men and women who are dedicated of serving nutritious food to both students and staff headed by Mrs. Agnes Masembe, Assisted by Mr. Niwamanya Adrian. These keep the dining of both Staff and Students clean to increase the appetite for food.

At the Kitchen also, we have Tea for students every evening by just adjusting the tap and hot water is gushed out.

Compound:    (Ground workers). This has eight members headed by Ndugwa Cosma. These have made sure that sanitation and cleanliness is up-to date.

Security: A strong and dedicated special force headed by Mr. Lim Lim Mark ready to provide security for the students and staff 24 hours (day and night). The formable force is of 10 men well armed and smartly uniformed.

Farm and workshop: A ready farm of Freshian cows that produce milk which is taken by the staff members

Workshop: To make the furniture available all the time and see it that the sanitary places are well maintained and availability of water to the school headed by Mr. Kiweewa Rapheal.

Farming: Tree planting in Kasenyi is taking shape where some groups of students are involved to keep the native green, so far a big plantation of Eucalyptus in Kasenyi is taking shape.

New Innovations:

  1. Construction of the new Science Laboratory near the Library Extension, a three storeyed building is being put up and the first ground floor is complete.
  2. New water borne Toilet near the gate so far finished for the visitors.
  3. Renovation of Students’ water borne toilet by Mbokya warriors is finished.
  4. Tarmacking walk ways in the school is complete. St. Henry’s is now dust free.
  5. A state of art gate is finished one of its own in the greater Masaka and Uganda in general.
